When a seller lists their car, they book a professional inspection through our platform. A certified DrCheck inspector examines the vehicle using a 200+ point checklist, including engine diagnostics, body condition, paint thickness, electronics, and a road test. The resulting report is attached to the listing for all buyers to see.

Creating a listing on PreOwned is free. The seller pays for the vehicle inspection, which varies by vehicle type and location. Visit our pricing page for current inspection rates. There are no commissions or hidden fees on the sale itself.

The inspection score is a number from 0 to 100 that reflects the overall condition of the vehicle. Scores of 80 and above indicate excellent condition, 60-79 is good condition with minor issues, and below 60 means notable wear or defects were found. The full report breaks down the score by category so you can see exactly where any issues lie.

PreOwned connects buyers and sellers directly. You can message the seller, make an offer, and negotiate through the platform. The actual sale and payment happen between you and the seller. We provide the transparency and tools to make the process smooth and trustworthy.

DrCheck inspectors are available across the UAE, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah. Mobile inspections can be done at your home, office, or a convenient location. We also have partner centres for drop-off inspections.

A standard inspection takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes depending on the vehicle. The inspection report is typically available within 24 hours. Once the report is ready, the listing goes live automatically.

The inspection report is transparent and shows all findings, whether positive or negative. If major issues are found, the seller can choose to address them before listing, adjust the asking price, or list the car as-is with full disclosure. Buyers appreciate honesty, and transparent reporting often leads to faster sales.

Each listing has a contact button that lets you message the seller directly through our platform. You can ask questions, request additional photos, or make an offer. You will need to create a free account to contact sellers.
